Janet L. Kroft, 63, went home to be with the Lord at 8 pm, Monday, Feb. 23, 2009.

She was born in Marion, to the late Phillip Devon Downam and Betty (Foutch) Gotchall Denney.

She married David Kroft, Sr. on May 9, 1975. He survives.

She was a Administrative Assistant for Gilead Ministries and formerly owned & operated Kroft Burger Dairy. She was a member of Marion Church of the Brethren, Red Hat Society and Lowrey Organ LIFE Club.

Survivors include, daughters,Tina (Steve) Robinson, Madison, Wi., Gina Marie Shrout Stratton Franklin, LeeAnne (Eugene) Kroft Siglin, New Castle; sister, Ramona (George) Carroll , Upland; step daughter, Diane (Dave) Cook, Marion, Elaine Couchman , Santa Fe; stepsons, David Kroft, Jr., Steve (Tammy) Kroft, Marion, Kelly (Margie) Kroft, Marion, Darrin (Sarah) Kroft, Marion; step siste, Zemora(John) Bunch, Marion; step brother, Phillip Gotchall, Florida.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, Kim Alan Kroft.

Services are at 1 p.m., Friday, in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion with the Rev. Bill Sparks, Rev. Bill House and the Rev. John Bunch officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Gilead Ministries.
